How much is shipping?

Shipping is free in the United States. Flat-rate of $15 anywhere else in the world (or free with minimum order of $30).

Amazon is selling your book cheaper. Should I just buy from there?

Sure, or contact us with the link and we’ll match their price plus give you an additional 10% off (US only). We supply to Amazon, so it is legit to buy there, but keep in mind that Amazon takes a deep cut of the sale and we lose money every time you buy through them. We depend on book sales to fund what we do. Please consider buying direct from us as that allows a majority of your money to stay within the ANTIBOOKCLUB ecosystem (meaning most of your money will go to the people who made the book, rather than losing almost all of it to a middleman).

Can I buy ANTIBOOKCLUB from my favorite local indie?

Yes! Your favorite bookstore is welcome to contact us to open an account. Please encourage them to do so. Some stores who already stock us include Quimby’s (NYC), Strand Book Store (NYC), McNally Jackson (NYC), 57th Street Books (Chicago), The Seminary Co-op (Chicago), and Deep Vellum Books (Dallas).

What is indiebookclub?

We control our distribution to the trade, which is one of our biggest challenges as an indie publisher. Bookstores are hesitant to stock us because we are not conveniently sold within the catalogs they order through. But the distribution middleman takes such a sizable cut that we have chosen to risk being in fewer stores so that every book we sell has more value in the end. Our publisher and founder, Gabriel Levinson, has led a life dedicated to unique methods of promoting books. With that in mind, we offer an unprecedented initiative we call INDIEBOOKCLUB.
